Last year I was anxious to buy a blender and found one at Wally’s World for a good price.. I forget how much I paid for it, but I am sure it was under $50. But it took me so long to find a good deal on one that I forgot what I wanted to use it for, so it’s been sitting in the box in my pantry all this time.

I finally got some inspiration and took out the blender today to make a batch of banana smoothies. It turned out pretty tasty, although not everyone likes the smoothie recipe that uses yogurt. The yogurt puts a definite tang on the tastebuds.

For being a big city and doing so many things right, Nashville has the crappiest local TV commercials I have ever seen.

People who own their store and think that should automatically entitle them to be a TV star who makes commercials need a big bite of a reality sandwich. The car dealers who hire blond young thangs with big boobs but can’t walk and talk to the camera at the same time are among the worst.

It’s really pathetic that no one is telling these people how stupid they look.
